Biomethanisation Plant in PepsiCo, Manisa Factory

With the Biogas Plant implemented at its Manisa Factory, PepsiCo has set a precedent in Turkey and within its global structure by producing biomethane from organic waste.

At Hochreiter Biogas, we have completed the installation of the biomethanation plant at PepsiCo's factory in Manisa.

This project represents a significant step in the field of renewable energy by transforming organic waste into eco-friendly biomethane. Implemented as part of PepsiCo's "Pep+ (PepsiCo Positive)" strategy, the facility aims to contribute to a sustainable food system and reduce carbon emissions.

The facility efficiently converts organic waste into biomethane gas, offering an environmentally friendly alternative to natural gas. Our innovative technology makes this process both efficient and sustainable. This facility at the Manisa factory, playing a pioneering role in PepsiCo's global operations, underscores the company's commitment to enhancing renewable energy, water efficiency, and packaging sustainability.

This project will serve as an inspiration for similar initiatives globally and will support PepsiCo's efforts towards achieving its net-zero emission target. As Hochreiter Biogas, with our mission to be a leader in sustainable energy production, we will continue to invest in the future and make positive contributions to the environment.
